520-1040 Upgrade Kit for EZ1-LV Systems
Double your system’s output. The 520-1040 Upgrade Kit adds four more 130 W panels, plus everything you need to wire them together, to upgrade your existing 520 W kit to a total of 1040 W. After extensive field testing, we chose these panels and accessories as the best match for the APsystems EZ1-LV microinverter.
What’s included:
Four 130 W solar panels, 27" wide x 38" tall and less than 1/8" thick
2 pairs of Y-branch MC4 connectors
2 pairs of 5' MC4 extension cables
MC4 connector tool
Wiring diagram and safety instructions, including how to connect without sparks
How it works: The EZ1-LV has two independent inputs, each with its own maximum power point tracking (MPPT). With this kit, each input gets four panels: two panels wired in series, and two of those pairs joined side by side (in parallel) by the Y-branch connectors. That is 520 W per input and 1040 W in total. You can also monitor production from your phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
What you need: An EZ1-LV system with the four 130 W panels from our 520 W kit. The EZ1-LV is not included.
Shipping: The panels ship directly from the manufacturer’s warehouse in separate packages, typically arriving in 3 to 7 business days. The connectors, cables, tool and instructions ship from our warehouse in Oregon. Shipping this way helps us keep the price low.
